Gray Metal Range Hoods

In 2005, a designer reached out to us with a request to replicate an antique metal vent hood that had been resting over an open wood oven in Italy for centuries. It was smokey and ashy, and his client wanted to match it as close as possible. Not to be fazed by the challenge, we came up with a beautiful rustic patina—an industrial-looking gray, slightly blackened, and overall variegated. That hood went on to be featured in several top magazines, including Better Homes and Gardens and Kitchens by Professional Designers.

Since then, we've varied it a good deal but we still get asked for it today. Many others have since replicated it, but we love to be on the cutting edge of great range hood design!
